Does it cost to perform searches on FurnitureFit?

Nope. FurnitureFit is a free service for furniture shoppers. Registration is not required to search, but if you would like to save favorites or contact the seller through the FFMail system you will have to register.

How do I post my furniture?

Have you created your account?  If not, register now.  Once you register click on the Sell My Furniture link that will appear on the homepage when you're logged in.  Enter all required information, including a minimum of one photo, dimensions, etc. and submit.  Your item is instantly available for search and will appear in the "Newest "Used" Postings" for a bit.

Does it cost to post a used item for sale on FurnitureFit?

The only cost for a standard posting is the time it takes to register and create your post. There are a couple of upgrade options available with nominal fees for featured placements that will be displayed during your posting process.

Does FurnitureFit sell furniture?

No. FurnitureFit helps individuals sell used furniture and for new stuff, supports brick and mortar retail locations.  We buy furniture, by sitting on the couch, opening the drawers etc and we guess that you do too. We hope to narrow your search and lessen your driving by knowing what you are looking for and knowing which stores in your area carry the item.

What is FFMail? And Why do I have to register?

FurnitureFit has a built in message center to help track your communication with sellers/buyers/retailers. Registration is required for contacting the seller to provide a layer of privacy. You will never have to disclose your personal email or any other contact information until you find it necessary for a transaction. All FF Mail messages will be sent using your user name to the seller/buyer's user name with new message notifications sent to you via email from FurnitureFit.
